DOCUMENTS NEEDED

To successfully finish your application, you must provide documents that authenticate your identity and your address.

STARTING THE ONLINE APPLICATION

By now, you should have received an email from us with a link to the online form you need to complete.

Click on the link to access the form and make sure to have the necessary documents prepared, as your application cannot be finalized without them.

CONFIRM YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS AND LOGIN TO YOUR NEW ACCOUNT

Upon completing the initial sign-up form, you should have received an email requiring your confirmation.

After verifying your email, log in to your account to proceed with your ongoing application.

CHOOSE YOUR ACCOUNT TYPE

When prompted to indicate your Customer Type, please choose "Individual."

FILLING UP THE APPLICATION

During this step, you will need to supply essential information about yourself. Complete all the required fields.

REGULATORY AND OTHER INFORMATION

During this step, please keep the responses for the following sections unaltered, as we have intentionally pre-filled them for you:

​

  • Account Type

  • Income and Worth

  • Investment Objectives

  • Trading Experience and Permissions

A Margin Account is necessary for our active strategies, whereas a Cash Account is required for our passive strategies.

TAX RESIDENCY CONFIRMATION

During this step, verify your Tax Residency and any Treaty Benefits you may be eligible for.

Just choose your country from the provided list whenever applicable.

REVIEW THE INFORMATION THAT YOU HAVE PROVIDED

Upon reviewing your details and ensuring that all information is accurate, sign the form electronically by entering the name you have supplied into the designated box.

SUBMIT YOUR DOCUMENTS

At this stage, you are required to submit the documents mentioned previously to complete your application. You can either click the 'Upload' button to submit the documents directly to IB or send them to us, and we'll submit them on your behalf.

Interactive Brokers typically takes up to two weeks to review and approve an application. During this waiting period, consider securing your account further by verifying the provided phone number.


We also advise waiting for your application's approval before depositing funds into your account.
